I have worked in the LCA field for the past seven years with projects across various sectors, from which I have developed a comprehensive understanding of its many methodological facets. My passion lies in delving deep into the details and data, in order to ensure a thorough understanding of the system I’m modelling and that the model fits the reality of the studied system as much as possible.
I have started LCAexplainer because I encounter a lot of confusion about what LCA is and is not, what it can be used for, and how the results can be applied for strategic decision making. This is my way of helping to clear the confusion, so that companies can spend money on LCAs that actually adds value, so ESG-responsibles can navigate how their company might benefit from working with LCA, and so new LCA practitioners can get a good start to their careers.
I’ve always enjoyed explaining complex scientific concepts and results through illustrations and analogies to every-day experiences, and I aim to make my sharings accessible to everyone. I believe that we as a society can progress faster and in a better way when we make science-informed decisions. I look forward to sharing my insights and collaborating with those who are equally passionate about making informed decisions for a sustainable future - let's connect and explore how LCA can contribute to that.
